The functionality of the DIVA program system essentially comprises:

• Construction of schedules, block plans and duty rosters
• Driver scheduling
• Integration of schedules from different sources
• Linking schedules and geographical data
• Construction and presentation of network maps
• Presentation of schedules in the form of booklets and posters
• Provision of data for central control systems and onboard computers in the vehicle.

Statistics software

The ISAS2 statistics package is used for the statistical analysis of the data that is recorded in the onboard computer during the trip.

ISAS2 offers a range of powerful functions, which can be used for example to verify and document the effectiveness of improvement measures that have been introduced. This provides the transport authority with reliable facts and persuasive arguments - particularly useful when it comes to decision making in a political environment.

Continuous improvement

The linking of planning, data recording and statistical evaluation supplies a reliable basis of information, which in turn provides a platform for the continued optimization of the planning process. This method of positive feedback allows the transport authority to plan more accurately and with that to use the available resources more effectively.
